University of Tulsa Student Athletes Participate in Read Across America
March 4, 2013 TULSA, Okla. - On Friday, March 1, members of the University of Tulsa football, women's soccer, and men's and women's basketball teams participated in Red Across America to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday at Sequoyah Elementary School. As part of the Read Across America literacy program, Tulsa stars such as Brentom Todd, Michael Mudoh, Tiffani Couisnard and Taleya Mayberry read to students as part of the Read Across America Literacy program. The National Education Association founded Read Across America in 1998 as the largest celebration of reading in the country.
