The University of Tulsa All Sports Banquet Set for April 29

Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Eighth Annual University of Tulsa All Sports Banquet is scheduled for Tuesday, April 29, beginning at 6:30 p.m. on the main floor of the Donald W. Reynolds Center on the TU Campus.
Former TU Football All-American and Buffalo Bills offensive lineman Jerry Ostroski, now host of the "Big O" Show on KTBZ Radio in Tulsa, will be the keynote speaker. As a part of the program, a special video presentation highlighting the 2002-03 athletic season will be shown.
The banquet honors the year-round efforts and accomplishments of TU's student-athletes. The Ultimate Team, which is an award presented to the top seven student-athletes based on academic success, campus involvement, community outreach, athletic participation and other areas of student involvement, will be presented as will other team awards. Tulsa's senior class of student-athletes will also be honored.
In addition, the Dan Bitson Courage Award, which is presented annually to the TU student-athlete who exemplifies courage, perseverance, and tenacity for overcoming adversity, will also be announced.
The All Sports Banquet is sponsored by the TU Lettermen's Association, the Golden Hurricane Club and the Women of the Hurricane.
