An outstanding guard who was an exciting playmaker, tenacious defender and accurate outside shooter. He averaged 21.3 points and 4.9 rebounds in his two-year career at Tulsa. Was the second-leading scorer with 18.4 points his junior season after transferring from Kilgore Junior College. Led Tulsa in scoring his senior year with a 24.1 average, while shooting .467 from the field and .736 from the free throw line. Was named to the All-Missouri Valley Conference team and earned honorable mention All-America merits as a senior. Had a career-high 47 points against Drake on January 8, 1972. Was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks.
