The Golden Hurricane Club, as the primary fundraising arm of TU Athletics, works to provide every TU student-athlete with the opportunity to realize a world-class athletic and academic experience.

Class of 1983 Considered one of Oklahoma’s greatest tennis players. Won the Missouri Valley singles championship three straight years. In 1937, he won the Tulsa, Oklahoma State, Arkansas, and Kansas State singles tournaments. In 1938, he advanced to the singles finals of the National Intercollegiate Tennis Championship. In addition to great success as a tennis star, he also played three years of varsity basketball for the Golden Hurricane. |
