Class of 1992

Was a standout in basketball and track in the early 1950's. Had career totals of 846 points and 624 rebounds. Earned second-team All-Missouri Valley Conference honors in 1954-55 after averaging 12.8 points and 8.5 rebounds that season. Led Tulsa to a 21-7 record and its first-ever NCAA Tournament berth in '54-55. Averaged 12 points and 11 rebounds in Tulsa's two NCAA Tournament games, including 14 points in a 68-67 win over SMU. Completed the 1954-55 season as the 15th leading scorer in the MVC. Also excelled for the track team, winning the 1954 MVC high jump championship.
