Greg Criser became the assistant equipment manager at The University of Tulsa in 2008. He oversees the ordering, design and assignment of equipment for the men's basketball team as well as 12 of the other 18 intercollegiate sports. Prior to joining TU, Criser spent 21 seasons working in professional baseball and three seasons in professional basketball. He worked with the Texas Rangers, San Francisco Giants, San Diego Padres and Colorado Rockies organizations during his 21 seasons in baseball and with the Tulsa 66ers in basketball. Criser also worked on Dave Blaney's NASCAR Sprint Cup team from 1998 to 2008, where his duties included running Blaney's fan club, website and souvenir operation. Criser was a Golden Hurricane punter on the 1983, `84 and `85 Missouri Valley Conference Championship football teams under John Cooper (`83 & `84) and Don Morton (`85). A native of Joplin, Missouri, Greg and his wife, Elizabeth, have three children: Nick, Lydia and Hunter. |
