Cody Ellett joined The University of Tulsa's strength and conditioning staff in August 2011 as a graduate assistant coach. Prior to his appointment at Tulsa, Ellett served an internship with the University of Louisiana- Lafayette football strength and conditioning program. Before that he was an intern in the spring of 2011 with the Sports Performance department at North Dakota State University, working with football, wrestling, softball, and men's and women's track. Ellett was an offensive lineman at The University of Central Oklahoma for five seasons from 2006 to 2010. In his final year, Ellett aided the strength and conditioning staff at Central Oklahoma where he worked with men's baseball, women's volleyball and women's soccer. He received his bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from The University of Central Oklahoma in 2011 and will be pursuing his master's degree in Education. Ellett is a Level 1 certified sports performance coach through USA Weightlifting. |
