Class of 1989

An outstanding two-way player, he was a superb defender and receiver for the Golden Hurricane. Played on the Sun Bowl and the Sugar Bowl teams. Earned honorable mention All-America accolades in two consecutive seasons. Was also an excellent student, and was named to Who�s Who in American Colleges and Universities. Was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the second round of the 1945 draft.
