Jace Jackson returned to The University of Tulsa in July 2011 after interning with the strength and conditioning program last year.

Before that, Jackson spent two years as a graduate assistant at Baylor University (2008-10). With the Bears, he worked exclusively with the men's basketball strength and conditioning program.

Additionally, Jackson volunteered as strength and conditioning coordinator for the SWAT team in Temple, Texas, as well as a consultant for the athletic department of Salado ISD in Salado, Texas.

Jackson served as a volunteer assistant strength coach for his alma mater, Abilene Christian University, for one year (2007-08).

Jackson earned his bachelor's degree in exercise science from Abilene Christian University in 2007 where he was a member of the Wildcat Football team.

He received his master's degree in exercise physiology with an emphasis in both clinical exercise physiology and strength and conditioning from Baylor University in 2010.

He is a native of Oologah, Okla.
