Class of 1988 An outstanding halfback who excelled on both offense and defense. Was a two-time All-Missouri Valley Conference selection in the 1963 and ’64 seasons. Set the record for the longest scoring pass play in Golden Hurricane history with a 98-yard reception from Jerry Rhome against Wichita State in 1963. Also established the school record for the longest interception return with a 97-yard return against Memphis State in 1963. Captained the Tulsa team that defeated Mississippi in the 1965 Bluebonnet Bowl. Went on to play professional football for the Minnesota Vikings.
