Class of 2002
Known as one of the school's greatest broken field runners ever, he led the Golden Hurricane in rushing twice. He gained 297 yards in 1941 and 497 yards in 1942 for an average of 5.2 yards per carry that year. Played on the Sun Bowl and Sugar Bowl teams. Earned first-team All-Missouri Valley Conference honors in 1941 and '42. Was a member of teams that compiled a three-year record of 25-6. Was an honorable mention selection to the All-Time University of Tulsa Football Team by the Tulsa World in 1945.
