A powerful, yet elusive running back who doubled as a blocker, he made up the other half of Tulsa's famed "Palomino Express." He and teammate Michael Gunter comprised one of only two college backfield combinations to each rush for over 1,000 yards in a single season. Rushed for 1,097 yards in 1982 for a 5.5 average per carry, while helping Tulsa compile a 10-1 record. Was a two-time All-Missouri Valley Conference selection. Had career statistics of 2,272 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns.
