An outstanding receiver, he led the nation in touchdown receptions in 1974 and ‘75 with 14 touchdowns each year. Was twice selected to the All-Missouri Valley Conference squad. Completed his career with 136 receptions for 2,385 yards and 32 touchdowns. Averaged 17.5 yards per catch during his collegiate career. Had his best season in 1975 with 51 receptions for 1,000 yards. Had an outstanding NFL career in 14 seasons with the Seattle Seahawks. Held six NFL receiving records upon his retirement and was selected to play in the Pro Bowl seven times.
