Chris Nerio became an assistant athletic trainer at The University of Tulsa in July 2005. Before coming to Tulsa, Nerio was the head athletic trainer for the Rhein Fire, an NFL Europe team in Germany. He also served as an athletic training intern for the Kansas City Chiefs, a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Tulsa, and a student athletic trainer at Oklahoma State University. Nerio earned his bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State in 2001, and his master's degree from Tulsa in 2003. Nerio is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association.
