Adam Polacek joined The University athletic department in March 2012 as an academic coordinator for Golden Hurricane athletic student services. Polacek came to Tulsa from Indiana University, where he served as an assistant academic advisor for football and women's water polo for the past year. Before that, he served as a graduate assistant for student-athlete support at Seattle University in 2010 He has also worked internships in ticket sales, sports operations and the 2011 NCAA Basketball Championship Denver Regional. Polacek received his bachelor's degree in Education from Northern Iowa in May 2006, while earning his master's degree in December 2011 from Seattle University in Sports Administration and Leadership. |
