Scott Brooks was named assistant athletic trainer at The University of Tulsa in January 2013. Brooks returns to TU where he was a graduate assistant athletic trainer for two years from 2005-2007. Brooks spent the 2012 season as the head football athletic trainer at the University of Illinois. Before that, Brooks worked at the University of Miami as assistant athletic trainer for football and track & field for four years (2008-12). He worked one year (2007-08) Michigan State University as an athletic training intern for football. Brooks also spent three years (2002-05) at the Manhattan-Ogden Public Schools in Kansas as an athletic trainer. He graduated form Kansas State University in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with emphasis in athletic training. Brooks earned his master's degree from Oklahoma State University in 2007 in Health Care Administration. |
