Became Tulsa's career receiving leader in 1950, and held the top-ranked spot on the school's all-time receiving list until the 1962 season. Had 76 receptions for 1,009 yards with nine touchdowns in his career. Led the Hurricane in receiving for two consecutive seasons -- 1949 and 1950. Had 31 receptions for 441 yards and five touchdowns in 1949, while catching 34 passes for 425 yards and four touchdowns in 1950. Earned all-Missouri Valley Conference honors in 1950, and was an honorable mention All-America selection as a senior.
