Class of 1991

Despite playing only one year, he was recognized as one of the greatest defensive tackles in Golden Hurricane history. Combined his strength and agility to be an outstanding pass rusher. Transferred to Tulsa before the 1952 season after the University of San Francisco dropped football. Earned second-team All-Missouri Valley Conference honors and played on the 1952 Gator Bowl team in his one season. Went on to play for the San Francisco 49ers and played in five Pro Bowls. Was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 1991.
