Class of 1995 An outstanding wingback who was among the nation's leading receivers in 1965 and `66 after transferring from Pierce Junior College. Had career totals of 134 receptions for 1,623 yards and 11 touchdowns. He ranked third nationally in receiving in 1965 with 78 receptions for 883 yards and eight touchdowns. Was a first-team All-Missouri Valley Conference and honorable mention All-America selection in 1965. Had six career games in which he caught passes for more than 100 yards. Best career game came against North Texas State in 1966 when he caught 14 passes for 219 yards. |
