Class of 1984

Through his outstanding blocking and devastating tackling, he is remembered as one of The University of Tulsa's greatest guards. Was elected captain of the 1933 team and was named to the All-Oklahoma team for three consecutive years. His efforts earned him All-America merits in 1931, '32 and '33. Went on to play professional football for the Chicago Cardinals.
