A three-year letterwinner, he was considered one of the greatest shooters in the first 50 years of Tulsa basketball. Was a two-time All-Missouri Valley Conference selection. Completed his career with 1,074 points for a 14.3 scoring average. Led Tulsa in scoring both his junior and senior seasons with a 15.2 average in 1959-60, and 16.6 average in the 1960-61 season. Connected on 79 and 84 percent from the free throw line in his final two seasons. Scored a career-best 42 points against North Texas State as a senior.
