Ryder Weischedel was named assistant director of strength & conditioning in June 2012. He came to Tulsa following one year as the assistant strength & conditioning coach and exercise science instructor at Central College in Pella. Iowa. Weischedel worked with the sports of wrestling, softball, men's & women's track, men's basketball and football. Before that, Weischedel served six months as the director of fitness and facility manager at North Dakota State College of Science (Jan.-June 2011). Previously, he also served as head strength & conditioning coach as well as an assistant football coach from Aug. 2007-Dec. 2008 at NDSCS. Weischedel was a graduate assistant in athletic performance at Baylor University for two seasons (2009-11). Weischedel earned his bachelor's degree in health & fitness administration from Jamestown (ND) College in 2007, while earning Academic All-America honors in football and wrestling. He received a master's of science degree in sports psychology from California University of Pennsylvania in 2010. |
