1980 Women's Golf Team

1980

Won the school's first national championship in any sport. In only the sixth year of the sport at Tulsa, the Hurricane captured the AIAW National Championship with a 13-stroke victory over second-place SMU. A pair of freshman Kathy Baker and Sharon Barrett placed sixth in the individual race. Tulsa won five of nine tournaments, and finished second twice.
