A unique way for recent TU grads to make an impact and stay involved with Golden Hurricane Athletics.
The Golden Hurricane Club hosted the 5th annual 110% Club Member Appreciation Reception on Monday, December 16, 2013 at the Lorton Performance Center. The 110% Club Member Appreciation Reception recognizes the contributions of all Golden Hurricane Club members who increase their annual gift by at least 10 percent from the previous year or any new member who donates a minimum of $110. More than 160 members visited with coaches and student-athletes while enjoying a premium coffee, hot chocolate and dessert bar. Rowing student-athlete, Rachel Perry, provided entertainment throughout the evening by playing the piano, and Vice President and Director of Athletics Dr. Derrick Gragg made brief remarks. "We are here tonight to celebrate your collective commitment to this athletic department, your continued participation in the 110% Club, and most importantly, your support of the more than 400 student-athletes who proudly represent this great university," said Gragg.
Since 2009, the 110% Club has been responsible for more than $1.4 million in additional annual support to TU's Department of Athletics. To join this elite group of donors and ensure your invitation to next year's 110% Club Reception, join the 110% Club today.
