Women's Basketball Locker Room

Facilities matter. In today's intercollegiate athletics environment, facilities are indeed a point of emphasis. To recruit and develop the best student-athletes, facilities represent a commitment and investment from our university and athletic department - as well as key stakeholders like you - to providing the resources necessary for our athletics programs to compete at a high level and win championships. Improvements to the current women's basketball and volleyball locker room facilities will provide a showcase for our coaches to recruit the best and brightest student-athletes in the country, complementing our world-class university experience.

The Donald W. Reynolds Center opened its doors in 1998 and since that time has seen several improvements to enhance the fan experience as well as the renovation to the men's basketball locker room and players' areas. However, the "daily" facilities utilized by our women's basketball and volleyball programs have gone practically untouched during that time. The current plan will provide an improved and renovated home for these programs and will cover every daily facility need for our coaches and players, resulting in the place where championship teams will come together.

The renovation plan for the women's basketball and volleyball team locker room calls for an improved layout and floor plan, new custom lockers throughout, new volleyball team room, construction of dedicated restroom and shower facilities for each team, custom graphics depicting the history, successes and future of these two marquee athletic programs, new carpeting and tile, new audio-visual equipment and updated fixtures.
