A unique way for recent TU grads to make an impact and stay involved with Golden Hurricane Athletics.
Q: What is the difference between the Leadership Council and the Golden Hurricane Club?
A: Your gift to the Leadership Council constitutes your membership in the Golden Hurricane Club. A five-year commitment to the Golden Hurricane Club of $5K, $10K, $25K, $50K, or $100K puts you in the Leadership Council.
Q: What are the advantages of joining the Leadership Council?
A: In addition to knowing your gift can make a difference, you will also be recognized in a variety of ways as a key partner in our success. Furthermore, because of the multi-year pledge of support, this will ensure that you are not re-solicited every year for your Golden Hurricane Club renewal. All contributions are tax deductible minus the value of benefits received, and will be added to your cumulative giving to The University of Tulsa.
Q: How does membership in the Leadership Council affect my Priority Points?
A: You will receive priority points in the same manner as you currently do for your contributions to the Golden Hurricane Club (1 point for every $100). However, you will receive these points for the entire five-year commitment in the initial year that you make the commitment.
Q: Why is the Leadership Council a five-year commitment?
A: A five-year commitment of support to the Golden Hurricane Club will not only help to strengthen the stability and predictability of our annual operating budget, it would also allow us to recognize the members of the Leadership Council as dedicated partners who share our commitment to enhancing the complete student-athlete experience at TU. It is critical that TU provide our student-athletes and coaches with the resources to compete at the highest levels - both athletically and academically. Your commitment will serve as an investment in the future of TU Athletics.
