The Golden Hurricane Club, together with the Women of the Golden Hurricane Club, hosted the annual Olympic Sports Dinner on Thursday, September 27th at Lexus of Tulsa. More than 130 Golden Hurricane Club members joined coaches, student-athletes, and administrators in celebrating the many contributions and accomplishments of TU's thirteen Olympic Sports programs. Voice of the Golden Hurricane, Bruce Howard, served as the emcee for the evening, while those in attendance heard remarks from Head Softball Coach, John Bargfeldt, Head Men's Soccer Coach, Tom McIntosh, Assistant Track & Field/Cross Country Coach, Will Wabaunsee, Head Men's Golf Coach, Randy Keck, Head Women's Tennis Coach, Dean Orford, Head Men's Golf Coach, Bill Brogden, Head Women's Soccer Coach, Kyle Cussen, Head Men's Tennis Coach, Vince Westbrook, and Head Rowing Coach, Kevin Harris.

"As an athletics program, we constantly strive to provide our student-athletes with a first-class experience during their time here at TU. Because of everyone in this room tonight we are able to do that," said Director of Tennis and Head Men's Tennis Coach Vince Westbrook.
