The Golden Hurricane Club is an organization of loyal supporters that provides the resources for student-related programs at TU for more than 300 young men and women student-athletes in 18 intercollegiate sports. Each contribution to this organization plays a key role in maintaining a successful and competitive program. The Golden Hurricane Club has been the backbone of our athletic endeavors for many years.

In recent years, The University of Tulsa has made a strong financial commitment to intercollegiate athletics. The University now subsidizes 135 athletic scholarships each year. The Golden Hurricane Club supports the non-scholarship needs of the athletic program such as travel, equipment, and recruiting. Today more than ever your support is needed to continue enhancing our proud athletic tradition.

Our goal is to recruit and develop outstanding young men and women student-athletes by providing quality educational and athletic opportunities. We can achieve this goal with your help.

What is the Golden Hurricane Club?
The purpose of the Golden Hurricane Club is to lend financial support to the intercollegiate athletic programs, athletic goals, and requested needs of The University of Tulsa athletic department.

Why is the club necessary? Other than private donations, the primary source of athletic revenue is ticket sales. The University of Tulsa continues to secure donations and expand its base of contributors in order to fund a nationally competitive program. We need your support to ensure the financial stability of our program.

Do you have to be a TU graduate to belong to the club?
No! We encourage everyone who is interested in supporting TU's athletic programs to join the Golden Hurricane Club. The club takes great pride in a membership that includes alumni, friends, faculty, and staff.

Is my contribution to the Golden Hurricane Club tax deductible?
Contributions to The University of Tulsa are tax deductible to the extent that the contribution exceeds the value of any benefits received in return.
