The Tulsa golfers used a one-under par 71 from junior two-time All-American Stacy Prammanasudh on the first day of the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational. Tulsa finished the first 18 holes in fourth-place after a team round of 306.

Tulsa trails first-place Southern Cal by 14 strokes, as the Trojans carded a four-over par 292. However, second-place Pepperdine has just a two-stroke advantage over the Hurricane. Rounding out the top-10 is host Washington (305), Tulsa and UCLA (306), Stanford (307), Arizona State (311), Oregon (312) and California and San Jose State (314).

Prammanasudh carded rounds of 36-35 for her one-under par round, and trails co-leaders Stephanie Keever of Stanford and USC's Nicole Dalkas by one stroke. Tulsa freshman Julie Tvede turned in a 15th place performance of four-over par 76 after the first round. Sophomore Maiko Senda, who recovered from a front nine 41 to a five-stroke improvement of 36 on the back nine, is one shot behind Tvede at 77.

Freshman Suzie Fisher and junior Dani Mallon each carded rounds of 82 on Monday.

The tournament will resume with 18 holes on Tuesday, and conclude on Wednesday.
