GHSS Tutoring and Mentoring

The primary goal of the OASiS Tutoring/Mentoring Program is to provide student-athletes with academic assistance beyond what they receive in the classroom.

Content tutors play a key role in the academic development of student-athletes. Tutors are able to provide a more thorough understanding of course content as well as needed academic skills. Mentors are specialist that help student-athletes holistically with time management, organization and study skills.

Every member of the tutoring and mentoring staff has been trained in study strategies, test preparation, and ethical guidelines.

Our tutoring and mentoring staff includes upper-class students, graduate students, former faculty, and professionals from the community.

If you are interested in becoming a tutor or mentor, print and fill out the Application and Availability forms and return them to the Ingersoll Academic Achievement Center on the 3rd floor of the Case Athletic Complex.
