High School: Was a four-year letterwinner in track and three-year letterwinner in cross country . . . as a senior, finished as an all-district champion in the 800-meters and 1600-meters, posting times of 2:16 and 5:10, respectively . . . also an all-district champion in the 800 (2:19) and the 4x400 (61 split) as a junior, and as the 4x400 (62 split) as a sophomore . . . finished fifth in the 800-meters and sixth in the 1,600-meters at the Texas Region II-5A Championships in 2003 . . . posted her best time in the two-mile run at the Baylor Cross country meet as a senior with a time of 12:07 . . . helped lead her track team to the district championship as a sophomore, junior and senior . . . a member of the cross country team which earned a first-place mark in the district, and second-place finishes in the regional and state competition as a senior . . . led her cross country team to a top-district finish and top-regional finish, as well as third-place mark at the state meet as a junior . . . was named the "Most Dedicated" and "Most Valuable Runner" as a senior.
