Golden Hurricane takes home one victory in Day One of Meyo Invitational
High School: Lettered all four years in track and field at Metro Christian Academy . . . a two-time Tulsa World Athlete of the Year for track, and also earned the honors his senior year in cross country . . . was part of the cross country team that won the Class 4A State Championship senior and sophomore years . . . earned runner-up at state as a junior . . . was the individual cross country champion as a senior . . . was a five-time state champion in track . . . ran personal bests of 1:55 in the 800m, 4:21 in the 1,600m and 9:40 in the 3,200m . . . played soccer as a freshman and was part of the team that won the Class 5A state championship.
