High School: Was a four-year letterwinner in track . . . placed second at the state meet in the 4x800-meters, third in the javelin and fourth in the 4x400-meters . . . was the Kansas Class 3A state javelin champion in 2003 with a throw of 143'1" . . . was ranked No. 21 in the country in 2001 in the javelin . . . as a junior, finished second in the state in the 4x400-meters, third in the javelin, seventh in the shot put and 10th in the 4x800-meters . . . as a sophomore, finished first in the state in the javelin and 10th in the shot put . . . completed her freshman season ranked 10th in the state in the javelin . . . helped lead her track team to two state championships, two state runner-up finishes and three regional championships . . .also a two-year letterwinner on the volleyball team and three-year letterwinner as a member of the basketball team . . . earned volleyball all-tournament and all-state team honors as a junior and senior . . . was a member of the basketball all-league team as a junior and senior . . . was a member of the Principal's Honor Roll and the National Honor Roll for four years.
