Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa’s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.
TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.
The Golden Hurricane Club, as the primary fundraising arm of TU Athletics, works to provide every TU student-athlete with the opportunity to realize a world-class athletic and academic experience.
2011-12: (Indoor) Participated in four meets . . . placed fifth at the Conference USA Championship in the 4x400m relay (3:45.48) . . . placed 12th at the league meet in the 400m prelims with a season-best mark of 57.14 . . . placed seventh at the Iowa State Open in the 400m dash (57.34) . . . (Outdoor) Participated in six events . . . won the 4x400m relay at the Tulsa Duels (3:48.74) and finished fourth at the Arkansas Spring Invitational (3:46.22) . . . placed 13th at the Arkansas Spring Invite in the 200m dash with a season-best mark of 24.32 . . . season-best time of 12.27 in the 100m dash came in a fourth-place effort at the John Jacobs Invitational.
2010-11: (Indoor) Saw action in three meets . . . was named to the All-Conference Second Team in the Distance Medley Relay after placing second in a time of 11:55.98 . . . landed on the all-C-USA Third Team after the 4x400m Relay team finished third in 3:46.94 . . . ran a personal best of 57.41 in the 400m at the Tyson Invitational . . . (Outdoor) Competed in seven meets . . . ran in the NCAA West Preliminary in the 4x400m Relay . . . was part of the 4x400m team that placed fourth at the Conference USA Championship in 3:39.68 . . . ran personal bests in both the 100m (12.32) and the 200m (24.53) at the Razorback Invitational.
2009-10: (Indoor) Participated in five meets . . . earned a spot on the all-C-USA First Team after her Distance Medley Relay team captured the conference championship with a season-best time of 11:37.32 . . . was part of the 4x400m relay team that won at the Wichita State Invitational with a time of 3:52.18 . . . set personal bests in the 200m (25.78) and the 400m (57.61) at the Tyson Invitational . . . (Outdoor) Participated in seven meets . . . was part of the 4x400-meter relay team that won the Conference USA Championship with a time of 3:37.45 . . . earned a spot on the all-C-USA First Team . . . was part of two school record relay teams at the Drake Relays, including the sprint medley relay (3:47.44) and the distance medley relay (11:20.49) . . . ran a season-best 200m time of 25.12 at the John Jacobs Invitational . . . ran a season-best 400m time of 55.95 at the Arkansas Twilight . . . finished second in the 200m at the Tulsa Duels.
High School: Attended Sportgymnasium Jena High School . . . turned in a personal-best time of 12.28 in the 100m at the Thuringia County Championships in 2008 . . . posted a top time of 24.68 in the 200m at the U23 German Championships . . . owns a personal-best time of 55.07 in the 400m.
Personal: Majoring in biology/pre-med . . . greatest track moment was finishing second at the U-20 German Championships . . . has a younger sister, Charlotte . . . daughter of Thomas and Conny Schuster.
