Alexandra "Alex" Darling is in her first season as a graduate assistant for the cross country and track and field programs at The University of Tulsa.

Darling is a former student athlete from the University of New Mexico (UNM) where she competed in cross country and track & field from 2008-2011. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2011.

She earned an All-Conference Academic award for the Mountain West Conference from 2008-2011 and graduated with a 3.65 GPA. During her tenure at UNM she was a member of the 2010 MW Conference Championship Cross Country team. She also earned All-MW Conference Team honors in the 3,000 Steeplechase and 1500 meters and was a First Round NCAA qualifier in the 3k Steeplechase and 1,500 Meters in 2011.

Additionally, Darling has coached high school cross country and track & field at her former High School, La Cueva HS, and recently earned her ACE Certification in Personal Training.
