Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa’s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.
TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.

2011-12: (Indoor) Saw action in three meets . . . placed sixth at the Conference USA Championship in the 5,000-meter run with a mark of 14:32.59 . . . finished seventh at the league meet in the 3,000m in 8:20.19 . . . also ran the mile at the Tyson Invitational, finishing 18th in 4:16.88 . . . (Outdoor) Ran four races at three meets . . . finished 11th in the 10K at the C-USA Championship (32:43.77) . . . posted a career-best 10K of 30:28.84 at the Mt. SAC Relays to finish 26th . . . placed 19th in the 5K at the league meet in 15:20.71.
2010-11: (Indoor) Competed at five different meets . . . earned four points for Tulsa at the Conference USA Championship after finishing seventh in both the 3,000m (8:25.13) and the 5,000m (season-best 14:51.08) . . . ran a personal best in the 1,000m at the J.D. Martin Invitational (2:30.80) to finish fifth . . . placed fifth at the KSU Invitational in the mile with a season-best time of 4:14.05 . . . ran a personal best of 8:17.91 in the 3,000m at the Tyson Invitational . . . (Outdoor) Participated in six meets, which included a trip to the NCAA West Preliminary Round in the 5,000 meters . . . finished second in the 5K (14:23.06) and third in the 10K (personal-best time of 31:04.05) at the Conference USA Championship . . . was named to the all-C-USA Second Team and the all-C-USA Third Team for his efforts at the league meet . . . ran the fourth-fastest 5,000m in school history at the Mt. SAC Relays to finish eighth (14:07.90) . . . won the 1,500m at the Tulsa Duels with a time of 3:54.55.
Previous College (Coventry University, 2009): Participated in both the 1,500 meters and 5K during his one season at Coventry University.
High School: Attended Beauchamp College and placed 11th at the British University Cross Country Championship . . . recorded personal bests of 3:49 in the 1,500 meters, 8:19 in the 3,000 meters and 14:17 in the 5K.
Personal: Major is undecided . . . has one sister, Bethan . . . son of Noel and Margaret Davies.
