Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa’s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.
TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.

2011-12: (Indoor) Finished fifth in the 5,000m run at the Conference USA Championship (14:30.36) . . . placed 10th in the 3,000m run at the league meet in 8:27.15 . . . (Outdoor) Placed fourth at the league meet in the 5,000m with a time of 14:29.21 . . . career-best mark in the 5K came at the Mt. SAC Relays, where he finished 23rd in 14:21.42 . . . placed second in the 1,500m at the John Jacobs Invitational in 4:00.16 . . . finished third in the 3K at the Arkansas Spring Invitational in 8:27.58.
2010-11: (Indoor) Participated in five meets . . . recorded the fourth-fastest 5,000m in school history at the Conference USA Championship, finishing third in 14:39.47 . . . was named to the all-C-USA Third Team for his performance in the 5,000m . . . also placed sixth in the 3,000m at the league meet with a season-best mark of 8:22.13 and was named the Men's Freshman of the Meet . . . season-best mile was at the KSU Invitational (4:21.42) . . . finished second in the mile at the J.D. Martin Invitational (4:21.53) and placed second in the 3,000m at the Tyson Invitational (8:22.38) . . . (Outdoor) Saw action in five meets . . . was part of the 4x1,600m relay team that posted the second-fastest time in school history at the Drake Relays (16:57.38) . . . ran his season best in the 1,500m at the John McDonnell Invitational with a mark of 3:52.44 . . . posted his season best in the 5,000m at the Mt. SAC Relays (14:44.78).
High School: Lettered all four years in track and field and earned three letters in cross country at St. Michael's Catholic Academy . . . he was named the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) 5A Male Athlete of the Year . . . was the TAPPS cross country state champion his junior and senior years . . . was a three-time TAPPS state champion in the 1,600 meters and a two-time state champion in the 3,200 meters . . . his personal best in the 5K was 14:56, his personal best in the 3,200 meters was 9:02 and his personal best in the 1,600 was 4:11.
Personal: Majoring in computer science . . . lists ice cream as his favorite food . . . his hobbies are listening to music and programming . . . his favorite game as a child was pinball . . . one of eight siblings . . . son of Stephen and Katherine Hodapp.
In eight years as a member of Conference USA, Tulsa athletic teams have won a league-best 48 conference championships.
