Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa’s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.
TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.

2011-12: (Indoor) Placed fourth at the Conference USA Championship in the heptathlon with 4,599 points . . . the point total was third-best in school history . . . earned a second-place finish in the 60m hurdles during the heptathlon at the league meet with a season-low mark of 8.46, which was the fourth-fastest in school history . . . finished third in the 60m dash in 7.19 . . . (Outdoor) Left the team prior to the outdoor campaign.
2010-11: (Indoor) Participated in five meets . . . recorded the fifth-fastest time in the 60m hurdles in school history during the heptathlon at the Conference USA Championship . . . finished 10th in the heptathlon at the conference meet with 3,985 points, which was the fourth-most in school history . . . also posted top-five finishes in both the 60m and the 60m hurdles during the heptathlon . . . (Outdoor) Saw action in five meets . . . placed fifth in the decathlon at the Conference USA Championship with 6,050 points, the third-highest total in school history . . . during the decathlon, Taylor finished second in the 100m and the 110m hurdles, and third in the high jump . . . won the 110m hurdles at the Tulsa Duels . . . twice ran the fifth-fastest 110m hurdles in school history of 15.03.
2009-10: (Indoor) Competed in four meets . . . participated in the heptathlon at the C-USA Championship, earning a fifth-place finish in the 60m dash with a time of 7.22 . . . had a season-best throw in the shot put at the Sooner Open (8.65m) . . . ran a personal-best 60m hurdles of 8.88 at the Razorback Invitational . . . (Outdoor) Participated in six meets . . . was part of the 4x100m relay team that finished fifth at the C-USA Championships . . . won the javelin at the John Jacobs Invitational with a season-best throw of 41.29m . . . competed in the decathlon at the Oklahoma Christian Invitational, winning the 100-meter dash and finishing in the top three in three other events . . . won the long jump at the Tulsa Duels with a jump of 5.72m.
High School: A three-year letterman in track at Cleveland High School . . . also a three-year letterman in football and basketball . . . placed second in both the 110m hurdles and 100m at the Class 3A state championships as a senior . . . set school record in the 110m hurdles . . . earned all-district cornerback of the year honors in football as a senior . . . named all-conference in basketball.
Personal: Majoring in psychology . . . older brother, Kyle, attended TU . . . son of Keith and Kelly Taylor.
