Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa�s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.

TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.

Freshmen throwers etch names in record books to kickoff outdoor campaign

2011-12: (Indoor) Did not compete . . . (Outdoor) Ran in three races . . . placed sixth in the 3,000m run with a season-best mark of 9:18.81 at the John Jacobs Invitational . . . finished 14th in the 5K at the Track-It Buster Invitational in 16:06.26 . . . placed 13th in the 3K at the Tulsa Duels (9:34.85).

2010-11: (Indoor) Did not compete . . . (Outdoor) Recorded a mark of 9:35.84 at the Tulsa Duels to finish third in the 3,000m in his only action of the outdoor campaign.

High School: Earned letters in cross country in each of his final two years at Collinsville High School . . . also earned four letters in soccer . . . he was an all-state 5A selection in cross country his senior year . . . ran a personal best time of 17:10 in the 5K.
