Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa�s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.

TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.

2011-12: (Indoor) Competed at five meets . . . named to the all-C-USA Second Team after finishing second at the league meet in the 800m run in 2:09.60 . . . was part of the Distance Medley Relay team that finished fifth at the league meet in 11:47.79, which was the fifth-fastest time in school history . . . season-best 800 of 2:09.25 was good for eighth at the Tyson Invitational and was the fourth-fastest time in school history . . . won the 600-yard run at the KSU Invitational (1:23.97) . . . won the 800m prelims at the league meet (2:11.15) . . . (Outdoor) Participated in seven events . . . placed sixth at the Conference USA Championship in the 800m run (2:11.06) . . . also placed eighth at the C-USA meet in the 4x400m relay in 3:47.40 . . . won the 800 at the John Jacobs Invitational in 2:13.06 . . . season-best 800 was 2:10.77 in a seventh-place effort at the John McDonnell Invitational . . . won the 4x400m relay at the Tulsa Duels in 3:48.74.
