2010-11: (Indoor) Ran in five races throughout the indoor campaign at four different distances, and she won four of those races and placed second in the other . . . was twice named to the All-Conference First Team after winning both the Mile (4:50.91) and the 3,000m (9:31.00) at the Conference USA Championship . . . ran the second-fastest times in school history in the 1,000m (2:51.67 at the J.D. Martin Invitational), the Mile (4:46.93 at the Fazoli/Baymont Invitational) and the 3,000m (9:19.01 at the Tyson Invitational) . . . won the 800m at the KSU Invitational (2:13.08) . . . (Outdoor) Whiting ran in eight meets in her final outdoor campaign . . . finished a career-best 13th in the 5,000m at the NCAA Championship with a final time of 16:00.78 and was named a USTFCCCA Second Team All-American . . . broke the school record in both the 1,500m (4:19.78 at the Drake Relays) and the 5,000m (15:46.91 at the Mt. 2009-10: (Indoor) Competed in three meets . . . was the anchor of the distance medley relay team that won the Conference USA Championship with a time of 11:37.32 . . . was first-team all conference in the DMR . . . finished first in the mile and 3,000m at the Tyson Invitational . . . placed fifth at the C-USA Championships in the mile and the 3,000m . . . (Outdoor) Participated in five events, including the NCAA Championships . . . finished 15th at the NCAA's in the 5,000 meters with a time of 16:15.41 . . . won the Conference USA Championship in the 5,000m with a meet record time of 16:17.48 . . . named to the all-C-USA First Team . . . was part of the distance medley relay team that broke the school record at the Drake Relays with a time of 11:20.49 . . . also broke the school record in the 4x1,600-meter relay at the Drake Relays with a time of 19:24.18 . . . finished second at the John McDonnell Invitational in the 1,500m with a time of 4:23.86.
High School: Was a four-year letterwinner in track, basketball and net ball at Dunstan High School . . . also earned two letters in tennis.
