Marc Scott won the Men's 5,000-Meter Run in Day One at Razorback Invitational

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The University of Tulsa track and field team is tied for fifth in the women's field and tied for sixth in the men's field after the first day of the Razorback Invitational on Friday.
On the men's side, Marc Scott won the 5,000-meter run with a time of 14:33.42, while Tulsa's distance medley finished sixth with a time of 10:10.49. Brian Tabb, Andrew Jameson, Isaac Sanders and Elijah Silva ran as a team for the Golden Hurricane.
Bryce Robinson finished second in the preliminary 60-meter dash with a time of 6.70 seconds to qualify for the final round of the 60-meter dash on Sunday. Otugo Ananaba finished 11th with a time of 6.99 seconds.
Robinson finished sixth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.13 seconds, which is the second fastest in school history. Ananaba finished 14th with a time of 22.32 seconds.
Colt Johnson competed in the heptathlon and finished fifth in the 60-meter dash, seventh in the long jump with a jump of 5.94 meters, seventh in the shot put with a throw of 8.70 meters and seventh in the high jump with a jump of 1.65 meters.
The heptathlon continues for Johnson tomorrow with the 60-meter hurdles, the pole vault and the 1,000-meter run.
The men's team ranks tied for sixth, with Oklahoma State, after the first daywith 17 points after seven events.
On the women's side, Rachel Baptista finished second in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 16:27.64, which is the second fastest in school history. Janessa Dunn finished fourth with a time of 17:31.84.
Tulsa placed two runners in the top-20 in the 200-meter dash as Audrey Jean-Baptiste led TU with a 15th place finish and a time of 25.21 seconds, while Roos-Sanne Claassen finished 19th with a personal-best time of 26.04 seconds.
Elizabeth Lothamer competed in the indoor pentathlon and finished 10th in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.73 seconds, 10th in the high jump with a jump of 1.43 meters, ninth in the shot put with a throw of 9.28 meters, 10th in the long jump with a jump of 4.09 meters and ninth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:34.33. Lothamer finished with 2,758 points in the pentathlon.
The women's team ranks tied for fifth, with Texas, after the first day with 18 points after eight events.
The Golden Hurricane finishes the Razorback Invitational Saturday with field events starting at 11 a.m. with the men's weight throw, while running events start at 12:10 p.m. with the women's 3,000-meter run.
