FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Sophomore sprinter Bryce Robinson won his 60-meter dash heat as the University of Tulsa track and field team finished day one at the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark.

Robinson ran in a time of 6.77 seconds, while Otugo Ananaba finished 34th in a time of 6.94 seconds.

Danny Thater finished second in the one-mile run championship with a time of 4:06.42, followed by Simon Greiner, who finished third with a time of 4:07.09.

Elijah Silva finished 12th in the 800-meter run championship with a time of 1:51.97, while Aaron Thornburg finished 23rd in the one-mile run with a time of 4:30.46.

Brian Tabb led TU with a 20th place finish in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:53.60, followed by Isaac Sanders, who finished 37th with a time of 1:57.77.

Alex Lybarger finished seventh in the weight throw with a throw of 16.20 meters, while Colt Johnson led TU with a long jump of 6.00 meters, followed by Andre Brown, who had a long jump of 5.44 meters.

On the women's side, Audrey Jean-Baptiste set the fifth fastest time in school history in the 400-meters with a time of 54.87, while Roos-Sanne Claassen ran in a time of 57.74.

Olivia O'Hare finished 16th in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:13.59, while Katie Killeen ran in a time of 2:19.51.

Natasha Cockram finished 13th in the one-mile run with a time of 5:03.20, while Katherine Camp finished 11th in the 800-meter run championship with a time of 2:10.18.

Emily Dunn finished ninth in the one-mile run championship with a time of 4:57.87, while Elizabeth Lothamer ran the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.77 seconds.

The Golden Hurricane continues the Tyson Invitational on Saturday with field events starting at noon and running events starting at 1 p.m.
