Austin, Texas - A partial track and field squad from The University of Tulsa wrapped up competition in the 75th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin, Texas, on Saturday. The three-day event is one of the biggest collegiate meets in the nation.

Sophomore Shana Robinson finished sixth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.74. She finished second in her preliminary heat with a time of 11.86. Seventy-seven runners took part in the race. Junior Karlisha Atkins finished sixth in her preliminary heat with a time of 12.73.

Sophomore Suzanne Smith competed in the 100-meter hurdles and 400-meter hurdles. She finished ninth in the preliminary heat with a time of 15.75. She then finished sixth in the 400-meters with a time of 1:06.60.

Freshman Natalie Rasmussen finished 11th in the 10,000-meter Invitational Run with a time of 38:26.50.

Three relay teams also competed in the meet. The 4x100m team finished fourth in the its heat and 16th overall with a time of 46.38. The 4x400m team finished third in its heat and 20th overall with a time of 3:47.52. The 4x800m squad recorded a time of 8:53.27 to record TU's best placing at fifth place.

On the men's side, senior Donald Shoals finished seventh in his prelim heat with a time of 11.29 in the 100-meter dash. Sophomore Ben Orozco finished 20th in the 5,000-meters in a time of 15:37.52.

Freshman Jamal Bogle competed in both the 110-meter hurdles and the 400-meter hurdles. He finished seventh in his prelim heat in the 110-meter race with a time of 15.59. He recorded a time of 55.86 to finish sixth in his heat. Junior Branon Vaughn finished fifth in his heat of the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 55.15.



Sophomore Owain Matthews finished sixth in the 3,000-meter Steeplechase in a time of 9:17.86. Fellow sophomore Derek Smith recorded 33:14.32 to finish 12th.

High jumper Heston King finished seventh in the event with a jump of 2.03 meters (6'8").
