WICHITA, Kan. - Senior Bill Martin and junior James Keilbarth both won event titles on the first day of the 2012 Track-It Buster Invitational Friday night at Cessna Stadium.

Martin took the 5,000m run with a mark of 14:48.29. He won the event by more than six seconds over the second-place finisher. Freshman Adam Johnson finished 10th in 15:36.83, while sophomore Will LePage was 11th in 15:39.93. Junior Seth Marsh placed 14th in 16:06.26.

Keilbarth captured the 3,000m Steeplechase in his first attempt in the event with a mark of 9:36.25. He won his event by more than three seconds.

Freshman Brandi Krieg placed fifth in the women's 5,000m run in 18:19.35. Sophomore Tricity Andrew was 12th in 20:00.27.

Tulsa will compete in the majority of the Track-It Buster Invitational April 28 at Cessna Stadium.
