Robinson Wins the 100 and 200 Meters Dashes at Arkansas Twilight Friday

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Sophomore sprinter Bryce Robinson of the University of Tulsa track and field team won the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash on Friday afternoon at the Jake McDonnell Field in Fayetteville, Ark.
Robinson finished the 100 meters in a time of 10.31 and with a 20.62 time in the 200 meters. Freshman Otugo Ananaba finished fourth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.95 and finished fourth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.03, while freshman Paul Akintade finished 11th in the 100 meters with a time of 11.29.
Senior Julian Frazier finished fifth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 47.49, while sophomore Elijah Silva led the Golden Hurricane with a sixth-place finish in the 800-meter run with a personal-best time of 1:49.21, which is the fourth fastest time in school history. Senior Brian Tabb finished 11th with a time of 1:53.55, sophomore Isaac Sanders finished 15th with a personal-best time of 1:54.95 and senior Andrew Jameson finished 16th with a personal-best time of 1:56.71.
Akintade finished sixth in the long jump with a distance of 6.30 meters (20-8), followed by junior Colt Johnson with a distance of 6.13 meters (20-1.5). Johnson also finished fifth in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 17.27 and eighth in the discus throw with a distance of 27.15 meters (89-1).
Sophomore Alex Lybarger finished second in the hammer throw with a distance of 56.15 meters (184-2) and third in the shot put with a distance of 16.15 meters (53-0).
On the women's side, freshman Lauren Thomas finished fifth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.61, while senior Audrey Jean-Baptiste finished fourth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.78. Thomas finished eighth with a time of 25.75, followed by Alex Lyons, who finished ninth with a time of 26.20 and freshman Elizabeth Lothamer finished 10th with a personal-best time of 27.29. Sophomore Olivia O'Hare finished sixth in the 800-meter run with a personal-best time of 2:14.73, while sophomore Olivia Lopez finished eighth with a personal-best time of 2:17.05
Junior Brandi Krieg finished sixth with a personal-best time of 4:30.91, while freshman Stacie Taylor finished ninth with a personal-best time of 4:45.41 and freshman Katie Killeen finished 10th with a personal-best time of 4:49.13.
Freshman Roos-Sanne Claassen finished second in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:01.33, followed by freshman Cydney Fogle, who finished third with a personal-best time of 1:02.71 and freshman Kendall Cox, who finished fifth with a personal-best time of 1:03.88.
Lothamer finished sixth in the shot put with a personal-best distance of 9.78 meters (32-1), 10th in the 100-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 15.73 and 10th in the long jump with a distance of 4.34 meters (14-3).
Junior Hartly Carlisle finished fifth in the discus throw with a distance of 45.31 meters (148-8), which is the fourth longest distance in school history.
The Golden Hurricane takes a week off before traveling to Houston, Texas for the Conference USA Championships from May 15-18.
