Senior Justin Smith recorded a personal best in the 100-meter dash with a mark of 10.73 to finish seventh. He also posted a time of 21.66 in the 200-meter dash to place 14th.

Seniors Tom Marshall (3:46.45) and Paulo Pinheiro (3:46.68) finished fourth and sixth, respectively, in the 1,500m. Junior Andrew Heyes was eighth in 3:47.52, and senior Bill Martin served as the rabbit and did not finish.

On the women's side, freshman Hartly Carlisle was fourth in the discus throw with a toss of 46.26m. Junior Done Vermaak placed fifth in the 800m in 2:12.99.

Sophomore Lauren Collette and junior Melanie Hughes finished ninth and 11th in the 1,500 meters. Collette's mark of 4:33.99 was a personal best, while Hughes recorded a season-best time of 4:37.75.

Tulsa will now travel to New Orleans, La., May 11-13 for the Conference USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
