Camp, Robinson and Thater Qualify for the NCAA Championships on Friday

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Senior Katherine Camp, sophomore Bryce Robinson and junior Danny Thater finished in the top-three of their heat to automatically qualify for the NCAA Championships at the John McDonnell Field in the quarterfinal round on Friday.
On the men's side, Robinson finished seventh overall, third in heat No. 1 with a time of 10.18 in the 100-meter dash. Robinson also finished first overall and in heat No. 2 with a time of 20.48 in the 200-meter dash. The quarterfinal round of the men's 200 meters is scheduled for 7:35 p.m. on Saturday.
Thater ran the sixth fastest time, second fastest in heat No. 3 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 8:45.30, which is the second fastest time in school history.
On the women's side, Camp ran the sixth fastest time overall and the second fastest time in heat No. 1 in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:04.86.
Senior Audrey Jean-Baptiste did not advance to the NCAA Championships after posting a 20th place finish, sixth place in heat No. 1, with a time of 53.98.
The NCAA Championships will be held in Eugene, Ore., from June 11-14.
