TULSA, Okla. - The University of Tulsa track and field team continues its season at the Wildcat Invitational in Manhattan, Kan., on Saturday.

Robinson, who was named Conference USA Male Track and Field Athlete of the Week on Tuesday, is competing in the long jump for the first time in his career.

The Golden Hurricane competes in 11 men's events and 10 women's events during the Wildcat Invitational.

Austin Hostetler is competing in his first meet of the season in the high jump at the Wildcat Invitational, while Andre Brown, Paul Akintadee and Colt Johnson is competing in the long jump. Akintade led TU last weekend in the Arkansas Invitational with a long jump of 6.57 meters, followed by Johnson with a jump of 6.22 meters and Brown with a jump of 5.98 meters.

Johnson is also competing in the shot put and in the 60-meter hurdles at the Wildcat Invitational and led TU last weekend at the Arkansas Invitational in the shot put with a throw of 10.68 meters and in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.65 seconds to finish third.

Brain Tabb is competing in the one-mile run for the first time this season. Tabb competed in the 1,000-meter run last weekend in the Arkansas Invitational and finished fourth with a time of 2:28.09.

Four Golden Hurricane competes in the 60-meter dash at the Wildcat Invitational. Brown and Andrew Jameson are competing for the first time this season in the event, while Akintade and Otugo Ananaba competed last weekend at the Arkansas Invitational. Ananaba finished seventh in the finals with a time of 6.99, while Akintade finished 13th in the preliminary round.

Tulsa is competing for the first time in the 600-yard run this season and has three runners, Elijah Silva, David Anderson and Isaac Sanders. Silva finished second in the 1,000-meter run with a time of 2:26.99, while Sanders finished second in the 600-meter run with a time of 1:23.08 and Anderson finished fourth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 53.10 last weekend at the Arkansas Invitational.

 

 

Jake McDonnell and Aaron Thornburg compete in the 800-meter run at the Wildcat Invitational for the first time this season, while McDonnell also competes in the 3,000-meter run. McDonnell finished third in the one-mile run with a time of 4:14.32, while Thornburg finished sixth in the one-mile run with a time of 4:25.02 last weekend at the Arkansas Invitational.

The Golden Hurricane has two runners in the 1,000-meter run and four runners in the 3,000-meter run. Danny Thater and Simon Greiner compete in the 1,000-meter run for the first time this season. Thater finished second in the one-mile run last weekend at the Arkansas Invitational with a time of 4:12.59, while Greiner finished second in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:52.38.

Nick Criser, Emmett Cookson, Adam Roderique compete in the 3,000-meter run. Roderique finished fifth in the one-mile run at the Arkansas Invitational last weekend with a time of 4:17.54, while Criser finished seventh with a time of 4:25.59 followed by an eighth place finish from Cookson with a time of 4:30.40.

On the women's side, Rachel Baptista, Janessa Dunn and Josie Wilcox compete in the 3,000-meter run for the first time at the Wildcat Invitational on Saturday. Baptista finished fifth in the one-mile run last weekend at the Arkansas Invitational with a time of 4:53.95, while Janessa Dunn finished ninth in the one-mile run with a time of 5:22.84. Wilcox runs in her first meet this season at the Wildcat Invitational.

Brandi Krieg and Natasha Cockram run in the 1,000-meter run at the Wildcat Invitational. Krieg finished second in the one-mile run last weekend at the Arkansas Invitational with a tiem of 4:53.14, while Cockram won the 1,000-meter run with a time of 4:52.40.

Oliva O'Hare and Katie Killeen run in the 800-meter on Saturday at the Wildcat Invitational. O'Hare placed second in the 1,000-meter run last weekend at the Arkansas Invitational with a time of 2:52.81, while Killeen finished seventh in the 1,000-meter run with a time of 3:06.74.

The Golden Hurricane has four players in the 60-meter dash, Roos-Sanne Claassen, Audrey Jean-Baptiste, Cydney Fogle and Alex Lyons. Claassen finished 12th in the 200-meter dash last weekend at the Arkansas Invitational with a time of 26.10 seconds in her first collegiate meet, while Jean-Baptiste finished third in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.71 seconds. Fogle finished ninth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.69 seconds, while Lyons finished 13th in the 200-meters with a time of 26.60 seconds.

Lizze Lothamer competes in the 60-meter hurdles, the long jump and the shot put. Lothamer finished sixth in the 60-meter hurdles last weekend at the Arkansas Invitational with a time of 9.81 seconds, while finishing seventh in the long jump with a jump of 4.42 meters and finishing second in the shot put with a throw of 8.91 meters.

Clara Langley and Emily Dunn compete in the one-mile run at the Wildcat Invitational. Langley finished sixth in the one-mile run last weekend at the Arkansas Invitational with a time of 5:07.02, while Emily Dunn finished eighth in the one-mile run with a time of 5:14.92.

The Golden Hurricane takes a weekend off before heading to Fayetteville, Ark., for the Razorback Invite from Jan. 31-Feb. 1.
