TULSA, Okla. - The University of Tulsa track and field teams continue the indoor season when they travel to the University of Arkansas this Friday and Saturday, Feb. 12-13, for the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark.
The Golden Hurricane is off to a strong start this season with athletes setting four NCAA provisional qualifying times, six Conference USA leading marks and two school records.
Junior Jennifer Mace is scheduled to compete in the 200-meter dash and 400-meter dash this weekend. Mace has run a NCAA provisional qualifying time in the 400 meters twice this season, with her season-best mark of 53.79 coming at the Razorback Invitational on Jan. 23rd at the same Randal Tyson Track facility.
Junior Justin Duncan is scheduled to run in the 800 Meter Run Invitational on Friday night, after turning in a NCAA provisional and C-USA leading time of 4:00.89 in the mile-run last weekend at the Notre Dame Meyo Invitational.
Junior transfer Lydia Chamberlin set a pair of school records the high jump (5-08) and long jump (19-06) in her first meet with the Hurricane at the Razorback Invitational. Chamberlin will participate in both the long jump and high jump this weekend.
Competition begins at Noon on Friday at the Randal Tyson Track Complex in Fayetteville, Ark. Live results can viewed here.
